Meet Kate Dean, M.S., LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Pastor’s Wife & Mom of Four
For over a decade, I’ve been walking with individuals, couples, and families through seasons of pain, transition, and growth.
My Path to Counseling
My path to counseling began at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where I earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with a dual focus in mental health and marriage and family therapy. My work in both secular and Christian settings deepened my passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging seasons.
Over the past decade, I have gained extensive experience with family dynamics, trauma, ministry-related stress, and spiritual health. Today, I integrate my clinical training with compassionate, faith-informed care to help clients find healing, clarity, and renewed connection.

Counseling Approach
I believe that you are your own best expert. My role is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and clinical wisdom.
I use a collaborative, non-judgmental approach that views each client as a whole person, shaped by their past experiences, family of origin, personality, and spirituality. I integrate evidence-based tools with compassionate support to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs.
Outside of the Office
I’m a pastor’s wife and mom to four kids — one of whom is on the autism spectrum. Our family understands the beauty and challenge of special needs parenting, ministry life, and balancing it all.
Lover of coffee and slow mornings when I can get them
Passionate about helping families “bloom where they are planted”
Deeply values honesty, humor, and grace in hard seasons
